Dear Diary - nearly missed this abandoned trolley, hiding in the camouflage of the rippled orange poles...it must have simply been my angle of approach, but suddenly, there it was...half drowned and shivering in the shallows of the reflective pool...
Dear Diary - no romantic visions of flight or the associated grandeur of striving to overcome the shackles of gravity here...nope...simply a memory evoked of hiding beneath the trapdoored floor of a childhood cubby house, secretly reading forbidden superhero comics one of which featured my champion anti-hero, "The Blimp"... ...is there anyone out there who remembers the blimp...?

Dear Diary - most enticing...a bargain window sign, enhanced by a single, squashed and dried blowfly. Further down, on the interior window shelf lie the desiccated remains of various insects that didn't make it to the esteemed position of "Embellishers of the Sign"...
